    "content": "Hon. Chairlady, this provision is very important. As a Committee, we discussed it for a long time. Strategic minerals are not necessarily the ordinary minerals. We are looking at minerals like uranium, about which the Government has to make a clear-cut decision. That is why we said that in such a matter, the Government should have a leeway to make the decision without having to do any consultation. For some of these minerals, even if you did consultations, you may not extract the details about them from the public. The Government is in a better position through its technical people to advice."
