"content": "could be further from the truth. When you go to the UK, it is very painful to use the GB Pound. The rest of us in the world are feeling the pain of using the GB Pound when the rest of the countries in the EU have moved to the Euro. When you use Euros, those of us who travel, you feel very nice. The conversion rate of the Euro is bearable. When you go to the UK, the conversion of the GB Pound is killing. In fact, some of the people who go for medical treatment there have been saying that you will die faster from the GB Pound than from the disease. The GB Pound continues to be very stressful. I think once we go into a union as we intend to do in EAC, the Kenya Shilling is good; the Kenya Shilling is powerful but there is always better company in numbers. So, even as we go into this monetary union, it is Kenya which is the largest economy that is going to benefit. It is our people who are going to get jobs. It is our people who are going to move into integration. It is the Kenyan economy that is going to benefit out of that."
