Temporary Deputy Speaker, what informed this decision to ask for a Motion for Adjournment to discuss this issue of national interest is the fact that this issue affects significantly members of my Kiambu County. This is particularly so because they are close to Nairobi and have been the victims of a lot of violation of human rights when they go to seek employment in the Middle East. A few months ago in August, the late Eunice Chege from Wangige, left to work in the Middle East in Saudi Arabia, as a domestic worker. She was murdered three months after she was employed by her employer. The employer claimed that the cause of the death was suicide three months after she had arrived at her work station."
