    "content": "Thank you, hon. Deputy Speaker for giving me this opportunity. I wish to thank hon. Mwinyi for bringing this Motion to the House. Air transport is a very important sector in our economy. It is very important to note that even the tourism sector relies greatly on air transport. The biggest problem is that the Kenya Airways, which has enjoyed a monopoly for many years, has inhibited the growth of air transport system in this country. You will realise that if we liberalise the fares, a number of Kenyans will be in a position to travel across the country. They will be in a position to visit the national parks in the country.
