    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, this is a statement in relation to a request that was sought by Sen. Mong’are. The Statement is on the status of compensation for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Nyamira and Kisii counties as a result of the 2007/2008 post-election violence. The statement had four questions as follows: (i) Whether we are aware that various persons from Nyamira and Kisii counties, including businessmen, farmers and workers were displaced as a result of the violence and, if so, whether the list could be attached. (ii) Whether the Parliamentary Select Committee on Internally Displaced Persons which was appointed in 2012---"
