    "content": "The two distinguished persons are in the country at the invitation of the Senate to assist in building capacity of our staff on the workings of a legislature in a bicameral system. In the past, they have organized visits for our Senators and staff to various USA State legislatures and are very good friends of the Kenyan Senate. On behalf of the Senate and on my own behalf, I extend a warm welcome to them on your behalf and wish them a happy stay in Kenya. I hope that they will find time to sample the rich hospitality of the Kenyan people and the beautiful landscape. Thank you. Hon. Senators, can we applause them in our traditional manner?"
