Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 5 be amended— (a) by deleting paragraph (g) and substituting thereof the following new paragraph— “(g) identify, design and implement projects and programmes that shall strengthen resilience to drought and climate change”; (b) in paragraph (j), by deleting the word “response” appearing immediately before the word “management”; (c) by inserting the following new paragraph immediately after paragraph (k)— “(ka) coordinate the design and implementation of the country’s regional and international commitments pertaining to drought management”."
