Speaker, aware of the provisions contained in the Constitution on freedom and discrimination, I would like to move a Motion for Adjournment to discuss an issue of national importance. This is assault to ladies in Nairobi and Mombasa allegedly by matatu touts in the last one or two weeks. The reason why this Motion for Adjournment is important is because even today afternoon in Kayole, a girl was stripped naked, assaulted; unfortunately, she did not make it. Therefore, this is becoming a trend that is not about dressing but about gangs. I would like to move this Motion for Adjournment to discuss a matter of national importance."
