We examined the nominee against the following criteria and status as set out in the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approval) Act of 2011. I would also want to note that on Friday, 30th October, 2014, an advertisement was placed in the print media, inviting the public to submit memoranda by way of affidavits on the suitability or otherwise of the nominee in conformity with Section 6 (9) of the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approval), Act 2011."
