    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, as the Minister prepares to answer this Ministerial Statement, could he also consider explaining why a company called Gulf, which was awarded a tender to bring in 70,000 metric tonnes of petroleum products, has not been able to offload its vessel? The tender was awarded in March. Could he also indicate whether that has caused the current fuel shortage in the country? Is there a possibility that the buyers have refused to accept the products from that particular company? Finally, could the Minster give details of the petroleum products in terms of volume held by Kenya Pipeline Corporation (KPC) in their tanks and most, specifically, the volume meant for transit against the volume meant for local consumption? That is as per today."
