    "content": "As I support this Bill, it is also important that once we pass it, it is implemented and the people given responsibilities must do what is demanded of them. We have the existing Act that we are amending through this amendment; there are so many things that are not working. There is a lot of money that is being paid to the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), whenever there is construction work due to the activities which demand impact assessment, or environmental audit. All this money is paid, but enforcement of the current Act--- There is very little in terms of implementation. We demand that the bodies or individuals who are entrusted with this responsibility should enforce the laws as they are because we know the importance of our environment."
