Temporary Deputy Speaker, when it comes to matters of the environment, I think these are issues we should take very seriously; particularly we in Kenya should strive to be in the forefront. Remember that we are the hosts of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and we have been given that honour by the whole world. We also owe it to the whole world, not only just to ensure that we conform to and follow the best international practices but also to appreciate the fact that we have been given that honour to be the Headquarters of UNEP. We should do much more."
