    "content": "The second function of this society is to provide professional advice for the retirement of former Members of Parliament. This is one of the issues I have also alluded to. The third function is to facilitate public participation and lobbying of interest groups on matters of general and public concern. This is critical because you might be out of Parliament today and be back tomorrow. The person who was there might be out and the roles reversed. Therefore, it is critical that we always remain alive to the dynamics and the changing needs of that particular leader."
