    "content": "Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me an opportunity to speak to this important proposal about coming up with a Parliamentary Society of Kenya. Looking at this Bill, we shall be making some amendments to it to expressly provide the criterion for becoming a member of this society. We will establish it, but we have not set out the criterion for becoming a member. Although it is captured in the preamble, it should provide for participation of former Members of Parliament in the promotion of the ideals of parliamentary democracy.
