    "content": "I had to hustle for ten good years until I came back to this House by the will of God and the people of Maragwa. We know former Members of Parliament have gone to court and they have been awarded payments by the courts, but to date they have not received anything. It is better for them now to be recognised. They have suffered because of the country. Let them be given what is right. When you decide to come to the House, you come as a soldier to fight for this country and to protect the rights of the people of this country. Why should you be left to suffer? Everybody has a right to dignity of life and not to be left alone to stroll around while nobody recognises you. If you go outside this House, you still meet others who have served this country asking for something small like lunch or Kshs1,000. This is somebody who has been here. Why do we criminalise politicians? Every person is a politician by birth. If a child is given birth to and does not cry, I understand from my own community that the child is given a slap until he cries. This is because he should talk or speak."
