As a Member of the Committee on Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, and knowing that we have been grappling with issues concerning food security and the central role that fertiliser and animal foodstuffs play, this Bill could not have come at the right time. This is the right time especially now that our Constitution guarantees every Kenyan a right to quality food. Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, the fertiliser and animal foodstuffs industry has remained unregulated for a long time.
