    "content": "Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady. This is a very important committee we intend to form. The composition that we have brought on board shows that we are going to have much more in terms of taking care of the interests of persons who have been deprived of liberty. When I served in the LSK, we used to have a committee called the Public Interest Committee. This is a committee that takes care of the interests of various persons, especially those whose liberties have been deprived. By bringing the Council of the LSK representation into the committee, they are going to take care of the interests of such persons if and when they arise. We have also brought on board various other persons for the purposes of public participation. The way this committee is being formed, will remove any conflict of interest that might be brought on board by maybe the DPP sitting in the committee. I, therefore, support."
