    "content": "With the series of killings we have experienced in this country in the last three months, it is very serious that the state of security in this country is wanting. I want to state that as a country, we do not have a policy. We do not have a national security policy in our country. This is very serious in managing security of a country. The runaway security in the country is purely because we do not have a national security policy. Last time the Cabinet Secretary, Mr. ole Lenku was here and the Principal Secretary by then, Mr. Mutea Iringo, we asked them about the national security policy. They admitted that they did not have it, which is very serious. That is why we are not seeing very well coordinated security operations between our national security forces. We have seen it in many cases including what happened at the Westgate between the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) and the Kenya Police. It was serious.
