We have been having a lot of difficulties in getting the Cabinet Secretaries under our watch to appear before the Committees. If your office could help to find out why a Clerk would give defective advice to the Chairperson of the Committee knowing it is not founded on any law or any Clause of the Constitution. If Cabinet Secretaries cannot respond to invitations, the next avenue is summons. You can see the challenges of security that this country is going through. The Chairperson is right. There is either a dereliction of duty or a total abdication of responsibility by persons given an opportunity to serve this country. Every insecurity challenge is happening in counties that we oversight, protect and defend. We will require your office’s intervention to make sure that there is a positive and responsible response to make the work of this House easier, better and successful."
