I was equally shocked by what I heard from my Chairman, in terms of an officer telling him that Cabinet Secretaries are barred from appearing before Committees. It is unbelievable. I want to believe that, that must be a very junior officer who does not know his job. My office will facilitate the Chairman to ensure that all the Cabinet Secretaries that he need to appear before him will appear before him as and when needed, because that is the law.
