"content": "That is a mandate given by our Constitution to the NSC. We should not pinpoint a certain individual to say that they are the ones who are failing. Otherwise, if you want to say or pinpoint, we should say the NSC is a failure. We are not going to say so, because we have seen the action taken by our KDF within or outside the country. We have seen several incidences where our NIS and our policemen have involved themselves in and they won successfully. Therefore, let us see where the future is. Every person today in Kenya lives under threat. Whenever I call my county anytime in the morning or in the evening, I ask them: Have the people of Isiolo, Baringo, and Turkana attacked you? I am sure people in Turkana will also ask that: Have the Pokots, Samburus, attacked you? My friends from Isiolo, when they call, they will also ask the same question. So, who is safe in this country? None of us is safe, from Sen. Omar to those patriotic young boys who were killed in Mandera, Kapendo and Baragoi. Nobody is safe in this country. I have suffered, not from Al Shabaab, but within our own borders in the city of Nairobi. If I had exposed the threats against me the way Sen. Omar did today, I would not have been on this wheel chair. I am sure you remember when you saw me the first time how handsome I was."
