I just want to assure the Vice Chairperson of the Committee on National Security and Foreign Relations and the former Minister in charge of Internal Security, who served this country very well that, that we are in no way questioning the capacity and capability of that Committee to discharge its work. What we are saying is that in view of the national importance of this issue, and all the issues relating to this matter, it is necessary that the two Committees work together. Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I beg to move that the Motion be further amended by inserting the words “and the Standing Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights” after the words “Foreign Relations.” Thank you, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir."
