"content": "1. investigates the recent restructuring at the GDC; 2. examines the recruitment of the seven new general managers in a bid to determine whether or not it was undertaken in line with the spirit of Article 234 of the Constitution regarding State corporations; 3. inquires and investigates the company’s achievements at, or failure in delivering 105 megawatts of power by December 2014 as compared to other players in the national and regional energy provision market; 4. causes the Auditor-General to carry out a special management audit and a special value for money audit of the company with a view to determining whether or not the public has fully realised the value of its investment in the company; and, 5. causes the company to concentrate on its core mandate.
