    "content": "Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. I wish hon. Duale spoke to me, or discussed with me, about this amendment; it, probably, would have come in a different form. I have no problem including retired Deputy Prime Minister in the clause. However, if you have to do that, then you have to provide for it. Each of the designated officers, namely Prime Minister, Vice President or Deputy President and the Speakers have clearly defined provisions for benefits such as the number of cars and staff attached to them. So, if you just put Deputy Prime Minister without providing specifically under what category it falls, you are not helping that office. Above all, this amendment, and that is why I wanted the whole Clause to be deleted, is very dangerous. Much as you would want to make the retired Deputy Prime Minister, Musalia Mudavadi, happy, you are again taking it away from him by telling The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
