    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, this is a brief on a statement regarding accreditation of Technical University of Mombasa Engineering programmes as requsted by Sen. (Eng.) Muriuki of Nyandarua County. Mr. Speaker, Sir, pursuant to Standing Order No. 45(2)(b) of the Senate, I wish to table the Statement requested by Sen. (Eng.) Muriuki on accreditation of Technical University of Mombasa Engineering programmes. I wish to state as follows; Mr. Speaker, Sir, the Standing Committee on Education convened a meeting with the Commission for University Education on 4th, September, 2014, to deliberate on matters concerning accreditation of universities and engineering programmes in Kenya."
