    "content": "The Committee received both oral and written evidence from the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of various State corporations and other relevant witnesses. In this particular Report, we have considered the accounts of the following 12 State corporations: 1. The accounts of Kenya Agricultural Research Institute (KARI) covering the period 1999 to 2009. The Committee last examined the Corporation’s accounts for 2009. It had to start from the accounts of 2009 and proceed up to 2014. 2. The accounts of the Postal Corporation of Kenya (PCK) covering the period 2002 to 2007. 3. The accounts of National Water Conservation and Pipeline Corporation (NWC&PC) covering the period 2002 to 2008. 4. The accounts of Teachers Service Commission (TSC) covering the period 2002 to 2009. 5. The accounts of Agricultural Development Corporation (ADC) covering the period 2006 to 2009. 6. The accounts of National Social Security Fund (NSSF) covering the period 2003 to 2008. 7. The accounts of National Assurance Company (NAC) covering the period 2001 to 2009. 8. The accounts of Western University College of Science and Technology (Masinde Muliro University) covering the period 2002 to 2009. 9. The accounts of Kenya Medical Supplies Agency (KEMSA) covering the period 2002 to 2009. 10. The accounts of Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) relating to Triton’s capacity and expenses. This was a particular investment that was carried out differently from the audit issues. 11. The accounts of National Social Security Fund (NSSF) relating to a loss of Kshs1.4 billion investment by NSSF through Discount Securities Limited. 12. The accounts of Kenya Railways Corporation (KRC) covering the period 2005 to 2007."
