"content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, among the issues that are a common denominator in all those reports is that of illegal acquisition or occupation of State corporation land. This has been a common feature in all State corporations. The NWC&PC has lost a big chunk of land in Chagamwe Reserve, Chanzu Staff Quarters, the Nyali Wells and Likoni area. Illegal acquisition of land of that critical entity has greatly affected the operations and activities of the corporation. One of the recommendations of the Committee is that the individuals who were in charge of the State corporations at that particular time should be held accountable; and that, all the land that was illegally acquired from that particular investment must revert back to that particular public entity."
