"content": "The other issue is on irregular disposal of State corporations properties. This applies to Kenya National Assurance Company (KNAC). The KNAC used to be one of the richest insurance companies in East Africa but today, it is a shell. What happened to KNAC? Has anybody been taken to court? Has anybody been found culpable? What has happened to the huge investment in land, properties and estates that KNAC used to hold? This issue relates to disposal of houses in areas like Kibagare Way, Loresho; in Muthaiga, Mua Park along Mombasa Road; the Nyali Manager’s house in Mombasa and Eldoret Block 13/177. All those prime properties today are in the hands of individuals and nobody can explain why. That is one of the issues that have brought this giant State corporation to its knees."
