Temporary Deputy Speaker, NEMA was formed so that it can help in the area of environment, but you find that people bribe their way so as to be allowed to build in water catchment areas, rivers and along sewer lines. It is our hope that this Bill will address these issues. The other issue is the involvement of counties in environmental conservation. In a way of appreciating devolution, it is good that this Bill has brought the county government to work together with the national Government on issues to do with the environment."
