"content": "Firstly, the issue of being asked for an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report when you want to build a maisonette in Nairobi’s South C area when the rest of that area is designated for that density of housing, will not happen because it is clear in Schedule Two that you only need an EIA report if you are building more than 30 houses. Therefore, some of the provisions contained in Schedule Two will eliminate quacks from the business of EIA, in that one will no longer need an EIA report for certain development."
