    "content": "It is just the other day that we celebrated our 50 years of Independence. The challenges we are going through are all manmade and because God has given us great minds, it is high time we use our great minds creatively and objectively in order to solve some of the current challenges that we are going through. Let us get out of the box; think progressively; expand our horizon of thinking and see things from very far. The other day when I said something, people did not understand. I am not a prophet but in our public life, we must always be prepared to stand for the truth because whatever you do today, somebody else will hold you to account on the same in the future. We are the true representative of the people of Kenya as clearly enshrined in Article 1 of the Constitution because sovereignty is equated to the people’s representative. Today we had a meeting as the Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC) with the leadership of the Senate. In that meeting, some of our former colleagues who were Members of the National Assembly today serve as Senators. History repeats itself. Some of them never thought they would have the opportunity to serve in the Senate. It is today they are realising that they are serving Kenyans under a different jurisdiction as Senators."
