    "content": "(a) In establishing and opening law courts, the Judiciary takes into account the distance from the nearest existing courts and the number of cases emanating from an area. (b) Maua Law Courts have four Magistrates, one Senior Principal Magistrate, one Principal Magistrate, a Senior Resident Magistrate and one District Magistrate. The station has a heavy workload and the diary is now in June 2011. Of the cases filed in Maua Law Courts, slightly below 50 per cent of them emanate from Igembe North. There is, in our view, a justification for calling for establishment of a court in Igembe North District. The local leaders and the community may consider setting aside land for the court development and providing the physical facilities through the CDF. The Judiciary would then provide staff and the requisite equipment. (c) The request to establish a law court in Igembe North will be considered along with the requests of other deserving areas when funds are available."
