"content": "THAT, this House Notes Sessional Paper No. 14 of 2014 on Increase of the Government of Kenya’s External Borrowing Ceiling, laid on the Table of the House on Tuesday, 18 November, 2014 and pursuant to the provisions of section 50(2) of the Public Finance Management Act, 2012, approves the increase of total indebtedness by the National Government, for the time being outstanding in respect of principal amount of money borrowed or credit obtained, from US$14 billion (Kenya shillings one trillion two hundred billion, that is, Kshs. 1,200 billion) to US$28 billion (Kenya shillings two trillion, five hundred billion that is, Kshs.2,500 billion)."
