A conservative estimate of the current debt shows that everybody in this country owes our debtors up to Kshs60,000. That is conservatory. So, then where is this going to take us? We must find a balance between our political promises and the reality of the balance sheet of our economy. We have to be bold as a country and tell Kenyans that, yes, indeed, we would want to grow this way, but it is not possible to support it with the kind of money that we have in our country."
