Teso has six, Lugari - 13, Bondo - 52, Kakamega - 0--- The completed ones are Busia which has three, Butere/Mumias - 16, Vihiga - seven, Mt. Elgon - three, Bungoma â five and Siaya â 17. The management of the Trans Nzoia; that is Budalangi has three projects while the headquarters also has three projects. That totals Kshs100 million. Mr. Speaker, Sir, with regard to the summary of uncompleted projects per district, Teso has 30; Lugari 13; Bondo two; Kakamega 10; Busia 47; Butere 41; Vihiga six; Mount Elgon 12; Bungoma 42; and Siaya eight. The head office had zero because we have completed and the total comes to Kshs161,958,678. That is the total cost of all those projects. So far, we have disbursed Kshs75,434,317 and we are holding a balance of Kshs86,524,360. (c) Following the freezing of the project accounts in September 2009, and the subsequent stoppage of funding by the World Bank, the Ministry recognized the need to undertake measures to correct issues highlighted in the audit report, and bring the project back on track. Consequently, the following are the measures, among many others, that we have undertaken. Refund of ineligible expenditure â that is a validation exercise is going on---"
