    "content": "So for that reason, it is important that as our people sign this, they are alive to the implications and what it means to the lives of Kenyans. When I look at this Report, there are certain treaties like the one on page 18; the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. When I look at it and see countries that have banned the trade and use of miraa in their own countries, for me it is against some of those treaties. This is because people in my community, Igembe and Meru County, rely on their miraa and it is both social, cultural and an economic commodity."
