We are in a security crisis in this country and just as the National Police Service (NPS) itself is being put under a microscope, it is important that we also look at the Commission. The duty to provide security to this country has been given to two institutions; the National Police Service and the National Police Service Commission. Since they have failed, just as we are carrying out a radical surgery in the National Police Service, it is also important that we carry out radical surgery in the National Police Service Commission to ensure that we get it right, once and for all.
