"content": "If I go to the Criminal Procedure Code Cap.75, this Bill seeks to amend the Criminal Procedure Code by inserting a new provision in relation to the arrest and detention of a person beyond 24 hours as stipulated in Article 18 of the Constitution. That is happening now. The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and other prosecutors are very good lawyers like hon. Maanzo. You know at one time in 2006 he took off with our party certificate. This man took off with the Orange Democratic Movement, Kenya (ODM-K) certificate. He left many of us on the road."
