    "content": "Thank you, hon. Speaker. As we close for recess, I wish all Kenyans a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. As we close this year, I wish to condole with the people who lost their loved ones in Mandera 1, Mandera 2 and many other places in the country. Indeed, it was a very eventful year for us. We lost people to terrorists who, as a country, we must fight and fight to the bitter end! Some of these laws that are being brought to this House to fight terrorism might take us back to the old days. Remember, we do not know who those terrorists are. Honestly speaking, as I go for my recess and to my constituency, I am a bit scared! If some of the laws being proposed here are passed, many of us might become victims.
