Speaker’s Communications in several occasions have diminished the standing of this esteemed House when Members find utterances which are defamatory, impugning, of ulterior motives, charges of falsehoods and deception, claiming lack of intelligence and knowledge, reference to race, creed or prejudice and charges relating to loyalty or patriotism. I will now go to instances of unparliamentary language. On 11th February, 2015, hon. Speaker said: “Who is that walking through---Is that hon. Member for Muhoroni walking as though he is walking through Muhoroni Constituency?” This offends. “I will not listen to anyone,” he said. He has also said, “What is that one doing now?” and “Look, this is not your property.” This was espoused on 18th February, 2015. He also said, “This is not a market place and you cannot just be walking.”"
