"content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I just wanted to inform the Minister on what she has just said about the communities around the sources of water benefiting. When I was an Assistant Minister for Water in 1998/1999, there was a big problem with the Nol Turesh Water Project because it was designed in a way that the water went up to Machakos and the Maasais and their cattle along the line were not benefiting from it. It was then decided that we should put troughs around these places, so that the people along the line could benefit. I am happy the Minister is saying this and I hope that she will follow it up. This was done many years back, but was not implemented."
