We have met the Departmental Committee on Social Welfare and they have prioritized our case. They are busy helping us to lobby for more funds. After we put in the request that the Kshs530 million is not enough and they need to add the money, we are also asking to be given a little money to open a national council for the older persons, so that they can be able to deal with their affairs. So, we are already at it and I am hoping that we will all join together to be able to get more money for the older persons in our country. It is true, and I agree with hon. Shebesh, that the money has made a difference to the people who really need it."
