    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, with regards to Statement (g), on the county assemblies operations and the additional requests to this statement by the Senator for Mombasa County, there was also a letter from your Office that asked us to look at this issue in detail because of the concerns from the counties. We also had a sitting with officials of the County Assemblies Forum who also expressed concern on this matter and came to meet with our Committee on the same. We, therefore, decided to handle this matter a bit more thoroughly because of the interest and impact. So, we decided to handle it as a Committee. We had a meeting with all the relevant institutions that were looking at the ceiling. Our Committee has decided to do a comprehensive report, which I seek the indulgence of the House that we table it in the House on Thursday. We will be addressing three issues: first, on the ceilings for the current financial year and the budget ceilings process for the coming financial year.
