After compilation, the results were then forwarded to the Ministry for gazettement of the officers but this process has not been completed yet. In order for the ultimatization of the Act at the county level, KWS has facilitated the selection of four prescribed community members who shall sit in the county wildlife conservation and compensation committees. For the Act to be fully operational, KWS, in consultation with the conservation stakeholders, have identified a number of regulations that need to be formulated as advertised on 11th February, 2014, last month, in The Daily Nation, TheStandard and Taifa Leo.
