For us as a House to come and say that we are only adding to oversight institutions and not to the institutions that we are overseeing, then the many hours that we are spending looking at these budgets and the reports from the Auditor- General are a waste of time. Another issue is the timeliness of this review process. One of the major oversights that we have been following as a Committee has been on duty waiver for a radar at the Meteorological Department.
