I wanted to contribute to the Motion as amended twice and say that the Budget Policy Statement (BPS) published in accordance with Section 25 of Public Finance Management Act 2012 has come up with very good intentions. I am interested in a few sections that I feel I need to contribute. First, Pillar One of the BPS seeks to create conducive business environment by implementing structural reforms, in collection, business regulatory framework, expenditure management and strengthening of the PFM oversight institution. The amendments that have been brought up by the National Assembly are very necessary. The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
