Chairlady, I stand to support this amendment because it is not only important for everyone in this country to understand the sign language, but it will cure the worries which hon. Members had in the amendment which was being brought by hon. (Ms.) Muhia where we were saying that it will be very difficult for institutions to implement the requirement to have, at least, somebody who understands the sign language. If all Kenyans are made to understand, at least, the basics of sign language in terms of just understanding what those people require, then we will have helped them to ensure that they are properly integrated in the country and that will be a very good step forward. So, I support the amendment by hon. Mwaura."
