    "content": "I, therefore, wish to convey to the House that my office has received a Petition signed by one Joseph Mwathi Nyanjui, a death-row inmate on behalf of all death-row inmates in the Republic of Kenya. Among other prayers, the Petitioner is praying that the National Assembly amends the Criminal Laws (Penal Code and Criminal Code) - for avoidance of doubt, it is Penal Code Cap. 63 and Criminal Procedure Code Cap. 75 - with a view to aligning them with the provisions of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
