    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, it is a responsibility, function and constitutional duty of the Senate to protect the interest of the counties. There can be no greater interest in the county than for the county to clearly know where its boundaries are. Therefore, I support this Bill; that we look into this problem and that we do not bury our heads in the sand like an ostrich and do nothing about it because this is a volatile problem that we cannot solve. We have to confront this problem head on. The Mover of this Motion has given some responsibility - in fact, the main responsibility to the Standing Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights - to come up with the appropriate legislation within 90 days to provide for the establishment of an independent commission to inquire into, examine and identify the boundaries of the counties. I want to take this opportunity to assure this august Assembly that the Standing Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights will not be wanting; we shall, within 90 days, come up with appropriate legislation on this. With those few remarks, I support."
