    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I have sought a lot of information and education in the meantime and I find that my fears have been allayed by about 50 per cent. What has come out is that there is a gap that we need to fill in the law. In the case law under the section dealing with child custody, there is nothing that specifically says that at a certain age, the child should preferably be with the mother, unless the mother is unable to take care of the child. My fear is that there could be a possibility that somebody will argue that since we have equal responsibility, I want the child of one day of age. However, I have been assured that in case law, it will not happen and it will be done under the custody law. With that, I am happy until I get more information, in which case I may come back with an amendment. This is something that I am going to do research on."
